David Niland was an American architect, professor, and urban designer. Niland earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Yale University in architecture. Niland served on the Cincinnati Urban Design Review Board and was an architecture professor in DAAP for over 40 years. Niland was known for his white, geometric modern homes, but he also made large contributions to inclusion of handicapped accessible areas in architecture. Niland died in 2010 at the age of 80.
