Richard Blinder was an American architect and historical architecture preservation supporter. Blinder graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Architecture. Blinder was a founder of Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP, an architectural firm based out of New York City and Washington, DC. Blinder worked on multiple notable projects, including the Empire State Building, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Grand Central Terminal. Blinder died in 2006 in Shanghai, China at the age of 71.
