Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk is an American architect and urban planner. Plater-Zyberk received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Princeton University. Plater-Zyberk is known as the co-founder and principal of the architectural firm, Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company, as well as representing New Urbanism and advocating for the New Classical school of architecture. In 2008, Plater-Zyberk was appointed to the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts. Plater-Zyberk has served as both professor and Dean at the School of Architecture at the University of Miami.
