Michael Schuster founded MSA Architects in 1985 and through his hard work and pure
love for the job has nurtured its growth and success. His dedication to design and his
community have propelled him to one amazing experience after another. His
involvement with the Cincinnati Reds, the University of Cincinnati, Miami
University, Xavier University and Government Square in Downtown Cincinnati are
just a few of the projects that reflect Michael’s belief that architecture can energize
and empower communities. His projects include Summit Park in Blue Ash,the
Government Square Transit Center, and the renovation of the Houston Astros Minute
Maid Park.
Michael will talk about the issues of producing high quality design in cities with a market
rate that impacts detail development, materials, and investment in buildings. How do we
design with modest budgets and deliver high quality architecture? Where do we focus
design issues and how do we work with clients to encourage investment in both the
public and private realm?
