Rebecca Williams
Rebecca Williams, Ph.D. is the Assistant Professor of Art Education at Murray State University.
She currently serves as the Higher Education and Student Chapter Division Chair for the
Kentucky Art Education Association, and the faculty advisor of the MSU NAEA Student
Chapter. She earned her BA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and MAEd and PhD
at the University of Georgia. While at UGA she also completed certification in interdisciplinary
qualitative studies. Prior to working as an Assistant Professor, she taught high school
visual arts in Louisiana. Her research interests include art education, curriculum and
pedagogy, teacher preparation, qualitative research, and narrative inquiry.
