David Noel is an artist and educator working across media, whose work examines the downstream effects of the Global War on Terror. Drawing from his experiences as a veteran, he observes how military aesthetics, technologies, and narratives circulate through everyday life, often through quieter imprints found in cultural debris. His work has been exhibited around the world in venues ranging from warehouses to drive-in theatres and has been featured in publications including Mother Jones, DoNotResearch, and Dazed. Noel earned his MFA from Carnegie Mellon University and currently lives in Northern Kentucky while teaching in the School of Art at the University of Cincinnati.
